Nature of the Website

Jasper County Released Inmates is an independent reference website. It has no authority over a sheriff, jail, court, corrections department, parole office, federal custodian, or immigration agency. The site does not store an official roster, release sheet, court file, or corrections record. It cannot confirm a person's custody status, direct a facility to release someone, change a public record, file a request for a visitor, or provide an official copy.

The site's purpose is to organize routes to government resources concerning Jasper County Detention Center, Ridgeland Correctional Institution, South Carolina corrections and supervision systems, court records, and federal custody tools. Some pages also connect visitors to independently operated research tools. Government access to nonexempt records is governed by the South Carolina Freedom of Information Act, Title 30, Chapter 4, and the office holding a requested record decides what it may release.

Acceptable Use Rules

• Use the site only in ways allowed by applicable local, state, and federal law.
• Do not use information found through the site to stalk, threaten, intimidate, or harass another person.
• Do not rely on site content for hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or another eligibility decision.
• Do not attempt to enter accounts, systems, or restricted areas without permission.
• Do not deploy bots, scrapers, automated queries, or similar tools against the site.
• Do not interfere with the site's operation or prevent other visitors from using it.

South Carolina law also restricts knowingly obtaining or using local-government personal information for commercial solicitation. See South Carolina Code Section 30-2-50. Access to a public record does not remove legal limits on how that information may be obtained or used.

No Consumer Reporting Service

Jasper County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It does not prepare or provide background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports. Its advertising and search partners do not provide screening services through this site. By using the site, you agree that information presented here or reached through its links will not be used for any FCRA-covered purpose, including:

• Decisions about hiring, firing, promotion, or other employment matters.
• Tenant selection, housing approval, or lease decisions.
• Creditworthiness, lending terms, or insurance rates and eligibility.
• Licensing, permits, benefits, or government-program eligibility.
• Any other decision regulated as a consumer-reporting use under the FCRA.

Service Provided As Is

The site and its content are supplied on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, no express or implied warranty is made concerning:

• The accuracy, completeness, or current status of any information.
• Continuous or uninterrupted access to the site or an outside service.
• Freedom from errors, defects, harmful code, or security weaknesses.
• The scope, quality, or completeness of results returned by a search partner.

Custody, release, court, and supervision records can change after a source updates. Nothing displayed here is an official statement from the Jasper County Sheriff, Jasper County Detention Center, SCDC, DPPPS, a court, or any other public agency. Confirm a material fact with the office that created the record.

Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, Jasper County Released Inmates and its owners, operators, contributors, and partners will not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from access to the site, inability to use it, reliance on its content, or use of an outside link or service. Your Duty to Indemnify
